Dr. Kaushik practices at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn, NY, ranked by U.S. News and World Report as a top national program in Gastroenterology and Gastrointestinal surgery where he performs highly advanced specialized procedures.
Dr. Kaushik has been recognized for his professional achievements and dedication to the field of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy. He has been awarded Fellowship by the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) and by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE). He is a member of the New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (NYSGE) and American College of Gastroenterology (ACG). Dr. Kaushik has been recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor 2021.

Dr. Kaushik was the Director of Endoscopy and EUS at North Shore University Hospital (NSUH) in Manhasset, NY 2006-2010. He completed his Gastroenterology fellowship including training in advanced endoscopy at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, a Top GI Program. He was selected as the Chief GI Fellow at this prestigious fellowship and served in this position from 2003 to 2005. After completing his GI fellowship he served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in the GI division at UPMC from 2005 to 2006.
Since 2006 Dr. Kaushik has developed a busy clinical practice in Long Island focusing on general and therapeutic endoscopy. He has trained several fellows in general and advanced endoscopy. He is an active member of the multidisciplinary tumor board at St. Francis Hospital.
Dr. Kaushik has authored or co-authored more than 25 articles in peer review journals. He has presented his research at local and national meetings and has been invited as a speaker at medical, surgical and oncologic grand rounds at many local hospitals and has been an invited faculty at local and regional GI conferences.
Dr. Kaushik loves to play tennis, spend time with his family and volunteer his time teaching and organizing wellness workshops for physicians, health care providers and the general public utilizing breathing and meditation techniques through the Art of Living Foundation.
Michelle Chung PA-C
Michelle Chung is a board-certified Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management at Baruch College. She then attended CUNY School of Medicine where she majored in Physician Assistant studies and graduated in 2017. She has over 5 years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine, Hematology/Oncology, and Gastroenterology. She enjoys being a Physician Assistant as this role offers the opportunity to develop meaningful connections with patients while serving as a critical member of the healthcare team. She is committed to providing compassionate, attentive, and comprehensive care.
